Not just from a fine art nude point of view. It is a great nude, doing exactly what a nude should do. The tones are awesome. The line pure and clean.
I love this image from a design point of view. I dropped the Photographer & Model logo on to it and the curve of her back and the rule of thirds drew it exactly into the position it is.
To me this could be an ad for the website.
I’d even start using butterflies around the site. But, alas, there is a lot of buttock in the image. They form a great line, an end to the S curve.
I try cropping the buttocks out for a more family friendly image, but then the curves get messed up and the image doesn’t work from a design perspective.
How much crack is too much? How far down can the bottom edge go and still not be a nude?

I thought you’d published a book for a moment! – it looks like the perfect cover.
Its a great image – Love the lighting and the shadows it creates.
Thanks Richard. Hadn’t seen the book cover aspect before but I do now. I also thought about using it on business cards.
