How-To Build a Cyclorama Photo Studio

I’ve always called a cyclorama an infinity wall. It is a white background that curves as the bottom so you can’t see where the floor ends and the wall begins. There is no line there.

Here’s a great video on how to build one. This is no simple project. They really build not only the curve, but also the floor.

Oh and the video itself is really well made and fits how we do things at my studio. Though photographer and model does not endorse the use of power tools while only wearing lingerie for safety reasons.

Taking A Break

It’s not you, it me.

I think we just need a little time apart.

I’ve got a lot of stuff going on in my life right now and I can’t give this relationship all the attention it deserves.

Those are my best “Let’s Take A Break” lines. :) Shawna and I are going on hiatus with the Photographer and Model podcast for awhile. At least until the beginning of September. We’re both really busy and don’t have time to do all the prep needed for the show right now.

Also it seems harder lately to get models and photographers to commit to coming on the show. We have to ask more people and follow-up more often – it isn’t enough for them to give us a date and say they will be there.

So we’re going to take a few weeks off, get stuff in order and maybe come back strong.

In the mean time, if you can’t do without some photographer and model interviews, why don’t you order the Podcast Collection on DVD and you can listen to lots and lots of interviews.
