We're planning to do some of these on the podcasts. Anyone want this done on their ports? Model or Photographer it doesn't matter, and Shawna will be in on this as well as me.
Wanted to give forum members first crack. I'll announce it on the blog this weekend, then via the newsletter, and if I still don't have any response, we'll ask on the MM forums.
I would be very interested in a Portfolio Review. As a legacy member on MM, I have more than the 20 that I see in the archived portfolios. I would appreciate the feedback just to help me cull my portfolio.
I have a second portfolio, but it would not work well as a YouTube post, and there are many nudes in it. If you are willing to review that one in some way, I would love feedback on it, too.
As a retired school teacher, I am not a full-time professional, but a photographer who wants to continually challenge myself and improve my skills. Listening to your podcasts, and viewing the site and blog are components of my learning experiences.
I'm really looking for some feedback as I feel my portfolio needs to be reigned in a bit, but not sure which way to go. It's primarily nudes, but if you're intested, I'm interested.
Steve I'll put your name on the list for the future. We might just do your G album, or pick and choose images I can blur to make SFYT (Safe For YouTube). :)
We also probably won't look at every image anyway, because we learned doing Mike's it can take a very long time.
Cool. Yea, I really need to get some of these models to put their clothes on. Haha.
In all seriousness, somehow I ended up with a lot of requests to shoot in this genre and I love it, but I need to do some more fashion type work to round out my port.
Wow. A belated thanks guys. Was tidying up my iTunes feeds and episode 117 was greyed out (never downloaded) and thus never ended up on my phone and I never realized you did my portfolio review.
BTW, guys. Yes, her finger is on the trigger and I corrected her and nearly didn't post that photo for that reason (although I'll pull it for another). And that's a CA legal AR. There IS a tiny little 10-round magazine in that AR. Damn all of you that live in free states. ;-)
Steve, most of the time I think the gun nuts need to lighten up when it cames to photographs about trigger discipline. But I try to keep fingers off just because they do look more like they know what they are doing that way.
